- Teaching and educating students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to your care by the Head of department
- Assigning work to and correcting work carried out by the students
- Assessing, recording and reporting the progress, attainment and behaviour of students in a timely manner
- Conducting and contributing to oral and written assessments
- Communicating, consulting and co-operating with members of the teaching staff, the administrative staff and subject supervisors
- Ensuring high standards of professional practice through appropriate learning of the subject/s and preparation to tackle essays and school assignments
- Contributing to the professional development of new teachers according to the arrangements of the Head of department
- Showing flexibility by teaching different syllabuses and cooperating with the management by shifting to other departments if the need arises
- Contributing to the preparation of study material for students as instructed by the Head of department.
