The Sous Chef/Baker is in charge of his / her section and his / her staff in terms of quality , standards and good service . He / she is the link between the Executive Chef, Operations Manager and the staff . He / she irresponsible for enhancing the performance of the operation .
It is the primary responsibility for the Bakery Sous Chef to assist the Executive Chef in direction and management of all bakery items, operations and associates, assuring the proper preparation of all bakery items for the clients, B2B restaurants, food and beverage outlets, and banquet day-to-day bakery production and
- Help in the preparation and design of all bakery items
- Produce high quality bakery items both design and taste wise
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
- Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: KD500.000 - KD700.000 per month
